Microneedling with PRP for Skin Rejuvenation

Combining collagen induction therapy with platelet-rich plasma for enhanced skin texture, tone, and regeneration.

Microneedling with PRP for Skin Rejuvenation

Microneedling with PRP combines two powerful regenerative techniques to achieve remarkable skin rejuvenation results. The mechanical injury from microneedling stimulates collagen production, while the growth factors in platelet-rich plasma enhance and accelerate the healing response.

Microneedling creates thousands of controlled micro-injuries in the skin using fine needles. This triggers the wound healing cascade, stimulating new collagen and elastin production. The depth of penetration can be adjusted based on the concern being treated - from fine lines to deep acne scars.

Platelet-rich plasma is derived from the patient's own blood. After drawing blood and processing it in a centrifuge, we extract the platelet-rich portion containing concentrated growth factors. When applied during microneedling, these growth factors penetrate deeply, amplifying the regenerative response.

Results include improved skin texture and tone, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, diminished acne scarring, tightened pores, and more even pigmentation. The treatment requires minimal downtime - typically 1-2 days of mild redness. A series of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart provides optimal results, with continued improvement for months as new collagen forms.
